Connect your data
The ways visits, identities, ad spend and conversions reach Attribution
Attribution models three kinds of data: the visits and identities of the people who reach your site or app, the spend behind your ads, and the conversions and revenue those people produce. This section covers the first kind: every way to get visits and identities flowing without writing the tracking yourself.
- E-commerce platforms. Shopify and BigCommerce apps install tracking for you and send orders as revenue.
- Customer data platforms. Segment and RudderStack forward the page views, identifies and events you already collect.
- Product analytics. Heap and Amplitude share their visit data with Attribution.
- Your own site. The snippet from Install the snippet, with the Google Tag Manager, cross-domain and PII-friendly variants.
- Files. Events CSV upload and historical import for data that predates your install.
Spend arrives through the ad integrations, and conversions from your CRM, billing or booking tools through the conversion integrations; both are described after the dashboard, once you have seen what Attribution does with them.
